Crisis or Awakening?

Am I having a crisis?

Midlife? Could be. I qualify. But I’m not sure that’s what this is.

Am I awakening spiritually?

Ah.

Something is definitely resonating there.

I mentioned a few posts ago that I am wanting to start a new blog. One based on helping others find their light, their purpose, their connection to this life, so they can find their own personal happy. I don’t know why exactly, but I feel compelled to help heal my people lol. I think that’s a good thing. 😉

The human condition has become one of perpetual struggle. I could be wrong, but I don’t think it was meant to be like this.

Stress has become part of our DNA.

Cancer is what AIDS was in the 80’s.

Depression has skyrocketed suicide. Victims as young as 5 years old. Stats say that every five days a child under 13 commits suicide.Wow. 😥

What is happening?!!!

We’ve become:

DE-sensitized. DIS-eased. And so friggin DE-pressed.

While it’s true that we have never been a more connected society since the advent of the internet, ironically that very connectedness has left us more separate and isolated. Somehow, collectively, most of us are numb to the fact that our technologically advanced times are literally DE-humanizing us.

And yes. Killing us.

Not only have we disconnected from each other, we have disconnected from ourselves. And we have most definitely disconnected from our souls. Does anyone even believe in souls anymore? Or that we might actually have a purpose for being here on Earth? I do! And I don’t believe our purpose here is to be unhappy and stressed the fuck out. Just sayin.

Over the past few months, I’ve been learning stuff. Stuff that actually matters stuff. Soul stuff, if you will. And the most profound thing I’ve come to understand?

Most of us are asleep.

Deep asleep to our purpose and to the understanding of who we are. And what we are.

.LOVE.

And our purpose?

Um…(duh)…same.

That’s it. Finito!

Now you might be like ya ya, T-dot. If it were that simple, why aren’t we all living in a happy bubble of Love? I mean how hard is it to love? Anyone can do it. Right?

Good question.

And the answer might surprise you.

Put quite simply. No. Not anyone can love.

So many of us are full of fear, anger and doubt, and a sense of unworthiness. Modeling the dysfunction we grew up in. Walking blindly through life, unaware there’s another way. And so many of us have just simply never learned how to love ourselves, never mind how to love one another. How sad is that? 😦

So no, Cindy and Bobby. Not anyone can love. But every one of us has an unbounded capacity to do so because it is literally what we are made of. HAPPY SHINY LOVEHow cool is that? 😍❤❤❤ (…channeling my inner Mr. Rogers there…this is a quick rant…I’m at work lol…)

But you don’t have to take my word for it. Look around you. Open your eyes. There’s a beautiful, spiritual movement happening all across the planet!

Some of us are Waking Up.

Hallelujah!

So…how about you?

Crisis? Or awakening?

Me? Ima go with Awakening.

Crisis is so passe. 😎
